For my friends new to CVSing, here are the scenarios for the week to get you started. It's a little hard without any $3 off $15 coupons, but you'll manage :)
Note: I edited the first scenario as you actually get $5 when you buy $10 worth of selected candy. I apologize to everyone for the mistake - I'm getting old (today is my birthday)! Thanks to "growyourown" for alerting me to the error - I'm the dense one!!
Transaction #1 - Candy Fix
Buy two $5 Gold Emblem Candy (Jumbo 40% Bag) = $10
Use $3 off $10 CVS coupon (when you swipe your card at the store)
Use $1 off Gold Emblem Candy (when you swipe your card at the store)
Subtotal: $10
Less coupons: $4
Total: $6 plus tax
Earn $5 ECBs (Buy $10 worth of candy get $5 ECBs)
Transaction #2 - Cheap Mani/Pedi
Buy two Sally Hansen Color Quik Pen at $7.99 = $15.98
Use $3 off two Sally Hansen products from Reinventing Beauty Magazine
Subtotal: $15.98
Less coupons: $3
Total: $12.98
Earn $10 ECBS (Earn $5 ECBs for each Quik Pen)
Transaction #3 - Alleviate Those Allergies
Buy 2 Alavert at $6.99 = $13.98 (earns $5 ECBs)
Use 2 (two) $4 off Alavert coupons here ($8 total in coupons)
Total = $5.98
Earn $5 ECBs
Transaction #4 - Time for Tylenol
Buy 1 Tylenol at $4.49 each
Use $1 off Tylenol coupon here
Total = $3.49
Earn $2 ECBs

Isn't the candy deal buy $10 candy, get $5 ECB? Which makes your OOP $1 after ECBs. Or am I being dense and missing something? Still a pretty good deal on candy though.
