The Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP) Trees for a Green LA Program has partnered with Million Trees LA to offer Los Angeles City residents FREE shade trees. To be eligible for a free tree, you must be an electric customer of the LADWP and complete an online workshop, which takes about 20 minutes. You will then need to submit your completed tree order and site plan, and the LADWP will deliver the trees to your home. You plant and care for them.
