Photo Books for Free and for Cheap!

Ever since I started making photo books as gifts for my mom and mother-in-law, I am hooked. I just upload my photos, lay them out online, add a few captions and, "poof," the book is done. Well, not exactly "poof" - photo books can be time consuming, but for me, it's a heck of a lot easier than scrapbooking (which I like too, but I really suck at it).

Right now there are some great specials on photo books. Check out the following deals and see if you might get hooked as well!

CVS: Now through Saturday, July 19, you can get a 4x6, 10 page hardcover photo frame book or a 6x8 10 page photo frame book for FREE. You just have to pay $3.99 (4x6) or $7.99 (4x6) out of pocket and then CVS will give you Extra Credit Bucks (ECBs) that can be used just like cash in the store. These photo books must be done in-store via one of the Kodak kiosks in the photo department. You can add captions and resize photos too. It's pretty easy to do, but again, it does take a good 30-45 minutes to complete.

Winkflash: Create a 10x8 or 8x10 hard cover photo book, up to 100 pages, for just $19.95 with promo code FLATRATE88. This is a great deal, especially since many photo book companies charge additional fees after the first 20 pages. Shipping for one book is $6.99. Expires July 29, 2008.

Shutterfly.com:
Shutterfly is my absolute favorite site to create photo books. There aren't any specials now, but if you are part of Pampers Gifts to Grow rewards program, you can redeem a free 20 page 8x8 photo book once you collect 100 points.

York Photo: Use promo code BOOKSAVE8 to get a 20 page, 8x11 photo book for under $17.00. Offer expires 7/28/08.

Thats awesome, it seems real easy and cheap. i haven't made a photo book from Kodak before but i have from SmileBooks.com. SmileBooks.com gives you free software to fully customize your book and SmileBooks.com's prices are better so why would i buy from kodak?
